Historical development of LABOMATIC
LABOMATIC has been active in the field of liquid chromatography for more than twenty years. It is specialized in preparative high-performance medium pressure liquid chromatography (LABOPREP-MPLC / LABOPREP-HPLC).

Due to its location near Basel, the company was in close contact with the users of these instruments from the very beginning. Companies such as Novartis (formerly Ciba-Geigy and Sandoz) and Hoffmann-La Roche have cooperated closely with the R&D team at LABOMATIC and helped to develop a product line of high-quality instruments for preparative chromatography. In addition, our instruments enjoy the international reputation of Swiss products for quality and precision. Years of experience and daily contact with customers are the basis of LABOMATIC's expertise, which has the ultimate aim of providing a range to state-of-the-art instruments by constantly incorporating the very latest developments in technology and adapting these to the customer's requirements.

Since the introduction of biocompatible versions of our instruments, LABOMATIC has also been active in the field of biochromatography. Here the instruments are used for affinity chromatography, hydrophobic-interaction chromatography, and ion-exchange chromatography.

For the last 10 years, LABOMATIC has been active in the field of fluid and medical technology, producing customer-specific assemblies for medical diagnostics instruments, for example.
