| The basic device of the LABOMAT LH-3000 consists
of one X and one or two Y axes and one base plate. The modular
system consists of X and Y elements which connect together.
Therefore, the basic device is available in 800 different variations.
The effective movement of the X-axis can be selected from 160
mm to 2800 mm; the effective movement of the Y-axis can be selected
from 70 mm to 670 mm. When two Y-axes are mounted, the scope
of movement for each X-axis is reduced by 120 mm. The height
of the X-axis is set between 130 and 780 mm by one to six mounted
supports. Longer (but in this case fixed) supports can also
be supplied. |

| The Liquid Handling Series LABOMAT LH 3000 is variable
in its size and available in more than 1000 models. The LH-3000
can be equipped with one or two Y-arms. Due to the different
application modules available, the LH-3000 can be used as an
autosampler, fraction collector, fraction collector with aliquot
extraction or as a fraction collector with pooling unit. As
the Robotic System is variable in its size it can also be used
for all your other liquid handling requirements. |

| This module makes the LABOMAT LH-3000 into a fraction
collector. An open system with unlimited number of fractions,
columns and vial size with a suitable rack to suit every application.
The instrument size is determined by the customer's application,
whereby the movement of the XY system is up to 2800 mm wide
and 670 mm deep. The vial racks are also adapted to suit the
needs of the customer. |

| Application |

| The AS-3000 module enables the LH-3000 to be used
as a preparative autosampler. The instrument size is determined
by the customer's application, whereby the number of samples
is limited by the XY movement of 2800 mm x 670 mm. The sample
volume is virtually unlimited, ranging from 1 ml to several
liters. As the Z-axis moves up to 400 mm, large sample vessels
can be used. The sample and appropriate diluting agent are sucked
into a sampling loop. A cleaning station with double cleaning
function ensures the sample needle is absolutely clean to prevent
carry-over effects. |

| LABOPORT AL-3000 aliquot extraction

 |
| The AL-3000 module can be used alone or in combination
with the FS-3000 fraction collector. It is used to fill aliquots
of the fractions for additional analysis purposes (HPLC, etc.).
The sample needle of the AL-3000 module moves automatically
to each fraction and removes a sample to be filled into a microtiter
plate. The sampling rhythm is automatically adapted to the fraction
change. The AL-3000 module (like the AS-3000 module) has a cleaning
station for the outer and inner cleaning of the sample needle.
The height of the fraction vessels is limited to 400 mm. |

| Application |
 |
| The PO-3000 pooling module is used for the automatic
sample pooling of different fractions and in combination with
the FS-3000 fraction collector module. The fractions selected
by the software are automatically pooled into an appropriate
vessel via a suction device. The pooled fractions can then undergo
a solid-phase extraction or be automatically sent to an evaporator
unit. This system is only provided in combination with the LaboChrom
Data and Control Software. |
